Is Animania showings and upcoming projects worth a box of Pocky?

My philosophy toward free showings is that if I met the person who set up each event that really made me have a nice weekend, sure I would offer to buy him a box of Pocky or a bottle of Ramune for his troubles.

So if this has helped you enjoy anime more to some degree in your leisure (I know more than a few people who goes to every single screening!) I encourage you to donate the cost of a box of Pocky by clicking on the donation link on the right of the screen.

Besides making our efforts feel appreciated, this will greatly motivate the club to work on new projects. We want to implement these changes faster and start grander events that we have been thinking of creating. More than 100% (yes, that’s right) of the proceeds will be used on you, our lovely viewers! We are excited to finally be working on these updates and here is a list of major changes we are thinking about incorporating:

• Prized trips to some of the greatest conventions in this nation
• Anime subtitling projects (anyone can participate!)
• More themed showings (i.e. Retro, shoujo, horror, strange nights? The possibilities are endless)
• Free snacks and goodies in the lobby area mMMmMmmMm
• Group expeditions to local Japanese restaurants and/or bookstores
• Karaoke night with OP & ED theme songs with Romanized subtitles
• Anime/drama review database where anyone can contribute
• Anime OST download listing (direct downloads)
• Improved galleries with wallpapers
• Various upcoming contents
